'America’s Briefing' - Sharing something new to us!
>The goal is policy change. The solution is building ideological infrastructure that shifts narratives and public opinion. The delivery mechanism is America’s Briefing.

It focuses on an innovative, data-driven 4-pillar approach to drive change, inspire hope, and advance an inclusive vision for America – at the intersection of news, education, and activism. It’s a robust civic journalism strategy to drive political and policy change.
>This includes curated content delivered through a YouTube podcast, very aggressive social media strategy, newsletter, and website serving as an information hub that amplifies the reach of advocacy organizations. Its goal is to offer people hope and self-determination while building critical information ecosystems to counter voter suppression, censorship, and media consolidation.
If you have a Democratic US Senator, call them to demand they oppose the CLARITY Act
Demand they oppose the toothless and inadequate “crypto regulation” bill that would continue to enable Trump to amass massive wealth from crypto corruption. It’s possible that the Senate will try to vote on the CLARITY Act before leaving for August recess on Friday -- faux crypto regulation legislation that would let Trump build on his $1.4 billion profit from the industry in 2025. This bill doesn’t protect consumers, doesn’t close money laundering loopholes, and doesn’t stop Trump’s crypto bribery machine. 78 House Dems voted to pass it last year -- we can’t let the Senate force it through before recess. Whether you're voting, helping others register, or supporting election protection efforts, there are plenty of ways to strengthen participation before September 1 and heading into the midterms.
Ongoing action items
Call your US senators, and demand they reject Trump’s request for $87 BILLION in additional funding to fuel his illegal war with Iran. Trump has steamrolled over bipartisan War Powers Resolutions in Congress and escalated aggression again. Congress needs to act immediately to put an end to Trump’s blatant and unconstitutional abuse of power and reject any more funding for this war.
Then, call your US representative and demand the same. Our Members of Congress must be united in their rejection of one more cent for Trump’s unauthorized, unprovoked war. Once you’ve called, follow up with a quick email.
If you have a Democratic senator, keep calling them to oppose the CLARITY Act, the toothless crypto regulation bill that would do NOTHING to rein in Trump’s crypto empire. A revised version of the CLARITY Act is about to be voted on, still without any language on ethics limits for senior government officials’ business ties with crypto. Trump made $1.4 BILLION from the crypto industry in 2025 alone -- Senate Democrats must firmly reject any and all faux crypto “regulation” bills that do nothing to actually address this corruption. (Confused about crypto? You’re not alone -- the crypto industry makes it opaque on purpose so we won’t be empowered to take action. Sign up to join the Hands Off Our Vote Movement, the Indivisible national program to ensure all eligible voters get to cast their ballot and that those ballots are counted. We know Trump and his sycophants will do everything they can to intimidate voters and sabotage the 2026 election results. We'll be ready to counter their dirty tricks and tactics with the support of Indivisibles all across the US. Read on for more about this campaign below.
VoteRiders: a nonpartisan organization founded in 2012 focused on the critical issue of voter ID and getting people registered. They have found that 32% of letter recipients register to vote, a huge success! There are two way of participating:
- packets of 10 letters/instructions/stamps will be available to pick up on Peggy's porch starting this Wednesday, June 24th. She asks for a $5 - $10 donation per packet, depending on size. She has started with NC but states may vary. It's easy & you can do on your own time! Instructions will be posted at pickup location.

FieldTeam6: a partisan, grassroots, volunteer driven organization focused on Democrats in swing states. This is a post carding effort and we will be hosting an event in the coming weeks to be held at the Sherborn Library with snacks and all tools needed for this effort. Donuts & Democracy: a nonpartisan group that focuses on the 25 million non-registered, demographic age 18-29, by going to college campuses doing in-person outreach while offering donuts:) This would be a drive but in New England, likely in NH or Maine. STOP THE GOP’S NEW VOTER SUPPRESSION LEGISLATION: EMAIL YOUR CONGRESS Member! Republicans are once again pushing for a series of voter suppression bills – all variations of their infamous “SAVE Act” – which would create unnecessary obstacles for millions of eligible Americans trying to register to vote. This voter suppression legislation would require every voter to show proof of citizenship, like a passport or original birth certificate bearing their current legal name, when registering to vote in federal elections. That might sound simple, but the reality is that millions of eligible voters don’t have these documents readily available. Because these bills would require showing this proof in person, they would eliminate online and mail-in voter registration. LINK HERE
